What is the difference between Senda Port and Senda DeCA?
Senda Port is the full platform for running a transport business: GPS tracking, VeriFactu invoicing, electronic consignment notes and fleet paperwork. Senda DeCA does one thing only — issue Spain’s DeCA control document from the cab — and is aimed at self-employed drivers and small fleets who need to meet the obligation without changing how they work.
What is VeriFactu?
VeriFactu is Spain’s invoicing verification system, designed to guarantee that every invoice a business issues is traceable and tamper-proof. Senda Port generates VeriFactu-ready invoices automatically, so you don’t have to track the requirements yourself.
What is Facturae and when do I need it?
Facturae is the XML invoice format Spain’s public administrations require: to bill a public body, the invoice has to be in that format. Senda Port produces the Facturae file alongside the ordinary invoice, so the same work covers a private client and a public one.
What is an eCMR and do I need one?
The eCMR is the electronic version of the CMR consignment note used for international and domestic road freight. It replaces the paper document with a digital record that’s faster to issue, harder to lose, and easier to share with clients and authorities. Senda Port lets you generate and manage eCMRs directly from the platform.
Do I need special hardware for GPS tracking?
No. Senda Port tracks your fleet through our iOS and Android apps — your drivers’ phones or tablets become the GPS device, so there’s no extra hardware to install or maintain.
